Today at the Kigali International Community School’s International Fall Festival a portion of the entertainment was provided by a little known band called Staff Infection. Comprised of three KICS teachers and the KICS headmaster, Staff Infection played covers to an enthusiastic crowd. Over their two half-hour sets the band played songs such as Bad to the Bone, Wild Thing, Johnny B. Goode, Heard it Through the Grapevine and My Name is Jonas. Lead singer Jacob Thies improvised on many songs to include names of the students in the audience. That ploy was particularly effective at causing those students to flee from his line of sight. This did not, however, detract from the performance. The audience as a whole was very entertained.
After such a brilliant debut the band has nowhere to go but to fame in the music scene of Kigali. Book them today by contacting the KICS office.
